Celebrating What Makes the Redlands Special
Best of the Redlands
Queensland Day is about more than a date on the calendar.
It’s about the people, places and stories that shape who we are.
This year, we’re bringing that spirit to life right here in the Redlands - a celebration of the people, businesses and community groups who help to make our region such a great place to live, work and raise a family. These awards are about shining a light on the locals who go above and beyond, whose hard work, care and commitment help shape the character of our community and make the Redlands such a special place to call home.
What is Best of the Redlands?
Queensland Day, June 6, is an important date in our history - but it’s the people in our local communities who bring that story to life.
In the Redlands, the “Best of the Redlands” is how we celebrate that.
Best of the Redlands is a community awards program that shines a light on the everyday people who go above and beyond.
From volunteers and teachers to small business owners and local legends - this is about recognising the contributions that often go unseen but never unnoticed.
It’s your chance to tell the stories that matter.
The Redlands is built on strong communities: People who give their time. People who support their neighbours. People who show up again and again.
Best of the Redlands is about recognising those people and celebrating what makes our part of Queensland so unique.
Because Queensland Day isn’t just about history, it’s about who we are today, right here in the Redlands.
